As a project manager within Welfare Gävle, you work closely with managers and operations in areas such as individual and family care, elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and employment services. You plan, lead, and coordinate projects, assignments, change initiatives, and development efforts. The workplace is located at Magasinsplan 19 in central Gävle, just a stone's throw from the central station. Here you work together with your colleagues in an engaged and development-focused work group. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a project manager with us, you get a key role in planning, leading, and coordinating various types of projects and development initiatives that contribute to the operations' goals. Together with managers and colleagues, you drive projects from idea to implementation and ensure that they are delivered with the right quality, within the set timeframe and budget. You collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and have an important role in creating structure, coordination, and momentum. As part of the project unit, you also contribute to developing and spreading the organization's project methodology, XLPM, and provide support to project managers and project owners. Your job responsibilities include: • Plan, lead, and coordinate projects, assignments, and change initiatives. • Ensure that projects are implemented according to set goals for time, quality, and budget. • Develop and follow up project plans, risk analyses, and financial reviews. • Serve as methodology support within the XLPM project methodology to project managers and project owners. • Contribute to skills development and learning within project methodology in the organization. • Coordinate and provide process support in various projects and assignments. • Build and develop collaborations and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who want to drive projects and change initiatives that create value for the operations. You are a confident project manager who thrives in a role with many contact points and who is motivated by relationship-building work, creating structure, momentum, and good collaborations. We are looking for you who have: • Higher education or university education in an area relevant to the position, or equivalent work experience. • Experience in driving and leading projects. • Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have: • Experience working in a politically governed organization. • Project management training.
