About SeaPattern
We unlock the full potential of hydropower!
At SeaPattern, we enable the transition to renewable energy by unlocking the full potential of hydropower. Our modular, floating hydrokinetic turbines are strategically placed to increase energy production in existing hydropower facilities, without new infrastructure and without negative environmental impact. Our technology also enables sustainable energy supply in remote areas as well as robust energy solutions for disaster relief and defense.
SeaPattern was founded by researchers, engineers, and innovators and is now in an exciting phase where we bring our groundbreaking technology to market. We are looking for more engaged and skilled team members who want to be part of developing the energy solutions of the future. Right now, we are looking for a Project Procurement Manager.
About the Role
As a Project Procurement Manager at SeaPattern, you will play a central role in the development and implementation of our technology by ensuring the procurement of critical components, suppliers, and procurement activities in our technical projects. You will work closely with our engineering, production, and project teams to ensure that materials and systems are delivered on time, within budget, and according to technical specifications.
This is an excellent opportunity for you if you thrive combining technical understanding, supplier collaboration, and operational project execution in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Your key responsibilities:
Lead procurement activities in technical development and implementation projects.
Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers in mechanical, electrical, and automation fields.
Coordinate procurement work in close collaboration with engineering, production, and project teams.
Ensure that procured components and systems meet technical specifications, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Monitor supplier performance, lead times, risks, and delivery status to ensure project progress.
Support Bill of Materials (BOM) management, procurement documentation, procurement reporting, and supplier follow-up.
Contribute to sourcing strategies, supplier development, and long-term procurement planning.
Drive continuous improvements in procurement processes, supplier structure, and cost efficiency.
Contribute to fast-paced development and implementation projects through efficient and structured procurement processes.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Industrial Economics, or equivalent.
Approximately 3–5 years of experience in project procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or technical procurement.
Experience from technical, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or engineering-intensive operations.
Strong understanding of supplier management, procurement processes, and commercial negotiations.
Experience coordinating procurement activities in cross-functional technical projects.
Meritorious if you can read and understand technical documentation, BOMs, and design specifications.
A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach with attention to detail.
Good collaboration and communication skills.
Very good English skills, both spoken and written.
Experience from startups, scale-ups, or other fast-growing tech companies is meritorious.
