Project Engineer - Power Grid at Leading Energy Company

ABOUT THE POSITION: As a Project Engineer, you will be part of an established energy company that develops and manages local and regional power networks. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of both new construction and renovation projects where you develop technical solutions and tender documents for various projects. You work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal functions to ensure that projects are executed according to set requirements, timelines, and applicable standards. Further, you participate in inspections and commissioning activities as well as ensure that technical documentation is updated in GIS, CAD, and facility management systems. The role involves significant responsibility for maintaining high project quality and ensuring compliance with EBR, ESA, and other relevant regulations. You will be offered a varied workday where you can combine technical work with coordination and collaboration, while contributing to the development of a sustainable and reliable power grid. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: Have a university or engineering degree in electrical power, electrical engineering, or energy systems. Alternatively, you have a YH diploma in a relevant field combined with several years of experience. Have experience with design and planning within local or regional power networks, or alternatively other relevant electrical power activities. Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work. Hold a valid B-class driver's license. It is advantageous, but not required, if you have: Experience working according to EBR and ESA standards. Knowledge of GIS, CAD, or other facility management systems. You have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and external parties. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT: This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant with our client. The intention from both the client and our side is that you will become directly employed by the client.
