We are now seeking our next infrastructure project engineer with a focus on construction management for our office in Västervik.
Are you interested in infrastructure projects? And do you have an engineering degree in road and water engineering or similar education, or alternatively experience from the industry? Then this is a challenging and developmental role for you.
About the role:
As a project engineer at Videntes, you work closely with project managers and support infrastructure projects.
As a project engineer, you will work in consultation with the project manager and project team to support project organizations with, for example:
- Conduct site visits at project sites, perform inspections, and maintain ongoing dialogue with contractors and other stakeholders.
- Plan and structure the project's organization, timeline, budget, and resources from start to finish.
- Develop, coordinate, and manage documentation that drives the project forward.
- Work with project administration and ensure order, structure, and follow-up.
- Support invoice review and follow-up.
- Ensure that projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and with good quality.
- Participate in and administer project meetings.
- Contribute technical analyses and identify improvement opportunities in the project.
- Ensure that the project complies with applicable standards, procedures, and practices.
In the role of project engineer, we are looking for someone who is either at the beginning of their career or has a few years of relevant work experience from similar roles and is seeking a new challenge.

Required qualifications:
- Higher education engineer degree in construction engineering with a focus on road and water, or similar education, or alternatively experience from the industry.
- Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing.
- B-class driver's license.
Desirable qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering with a focus on infrastructure and construction or similar as the employer deems appropriate.
- Experience in land and construction projects.
- Relevant work experience as a project engineer in community construction.
Other information:
This is a permanent position at 100% at Videntes' office in Västervik.
Work-related travel may be included.
