Building and maintaining roads and infrastructure is significant. Contributing to societal development is even greater. With us, you get to do both. With placement in southern Stockholm, we are now seeking a project engineer for our Operations and Maintenance activities. At Svevia, we combine the community and team spirit of a small company with the stability of a large enterprise. Here you have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist - with commitment, collaboration, and responsibility. Your Assignment as Project Engineer As a project engineer, you will be an important support to our site managers and supervisors through strategic and production-close support in our operations assignments. Your main task is to ensure that project documentation, materials, and reporting meet the Swedish Transport Agency's requirements. You work closely with production to collect, quality assure, and follow up data - primarily related to winter road maintenance, GPS data, and GPD analysis. You participate in customer meetings, produce ongoing operations reports, and contribute to creating structure and order in the projects. The work is varied and can range from cost estimate and calculation work to planning and handling of contract-related matters. The role is mobile and involves regular visits to our sites in southern Stockholm, but the placement location is Tumba. The position is full-time with working hours Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting. Who Are You? You have relevant higher education, preferably as an engineer, and ideally a background from the construction and civil engineering industry. We would like to see that you have experience working on projects with the Swedish Transport Agency as a client. You thrive in an operation where documentation and structure are central, and you have good system skills - preferably from the Swedish Transport Agency's Project Portal and GPD analysis. As a person, you are thorough, unpretentious, and confident. You enjoy collaborating closely with production, are communicative, and can drive your tasks independently. You are flexible, help out where needed, and have an easy time building good relationships. Experience from operations and winter maintenance is a merit. The position requires a B-class driver's license, and it is an advantage if you have access to your own car as travel within the area is common. Part of Something Larger Svevia is today Sweden's largest operations contractor. Within operations and maintenance, we handle, among other things, summer and winter road maintenance for half of the state's road network. And many municipalities, private companies, and road associations hire us to care for their roads and outdoor environments. With us, you contribute to a larger whole. We plow for families on their way to the mountains. We ensure that goods transport for business reaches its destination and make sure that streets, squares, and parks are clean and neat. We also protect lives on the road through our offering in traffic arrangements. Why Svevia? With us, you quickly become part of the team and we care about being a workplace for everyone.
