The assignment scope is 50-100% and is expected to start on 2026-09-01 and run through 2027-08-30. About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced design manager for an extended consulting assignment within civil engineering and infrastructure in the Stockholm area. In this role, you will hold a central position in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects where you lead and coordinate the design work based on the project's objectives, requirements, and conditions. You will work together with clients, project organizations, designers, and other stakeholders with a focus on progress, quality, and feasible solutions. As a design manager, you will, among other things: Lead and direct the design work based on the project's objectives, requirements, and conditions. Coordinate different technical disciplines and ensure feasible and efficient solutions. Drive the design process forward and identify risks, dependencies, and technical challenges. Plan and follow up on design work within given time and budget frames. Ensure good communication, meeting structures, and documentation. Contribute with a focus on sustainability, economics, operations and maintenance, and work environment. Start: 2026-09-01 End: 2027-08-30 (with possibility of extension of 1+1+1 years) Scope: 50-100% Location: Stockholm Employment form: The assignment requires that you as a consultant can invoice through your own company. About You We are looking for you to meet the following mandatory requirements: At least 9 years of experience in the relevant area. Worked at least 5 years as a design manager for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. Experience as a design manager within a municipal or state client organization. Good understanding of the design process within infrastructure projects. Ability to lead and coordinate multiple technical disciplines. Good knowledge of relevant requirements, regulations, and processes related to infrastructure projects. Application Does the assignment sound interesting?
