The Planning and Finance Department provides support to the entire business area of planning, finance and procurement, both strategically and operatively. We work with operational and financial management through operational planning, internal governance and control, budgeting, forecasts, accounting, monitoring and analysis. Within the procurement and purchasing area, we support the entire university's purchasing process.

Job Responsibilities
As a project economist, your duties will include supporting the university's operations with financial statements, budgets, forecasts and monitoring of primarily externally financed research projects.
The project economist will work close to the operations but be part of a centrally placed department. Within the department there is ongoing work aimed at ensuring uniform and efficient working methods, where the implementation of additional system support is ongoing.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in economics or equivalent, as assessed by the employer as equivalent
- Several years of current experience with similar work
- Good accounting knowledge
- Proficient Excel user
- Good knowledge of English and Swedish in both speech and writing
Meritorious
For this position, it is meritorious to have:
- Experience with financial work in the public sector
- Experience with financial work in projects
- Experience with the financial system Unit4-ERP (Agresso)
