Right now, we at Novare Bemanning are looking for a project economist at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). You will be part of the economics department at the EECS School and support one or more departments in managing grant-funded projects as well as financial management and reporting. Scope: 100% Start: As soon as possible Duration: 8 months, with possible extension Location: Stockholm, KTH campus About the assignment As a project economist, you'll have a varied workday where you work both operationally with accounting and more closely with the business in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with project managers and department heads and serve as important financial support for the operations. Examples of tasks: Ongoing bookkeeping and year-end accounting work Requisitions and reporting to funders Project administration Budgeting for projects Followup and forecasting for grant-funded projects Budget and forecast work for one or more departments Financial support to project managers and department heads Other financial management work We are looking for you who have Relevant education in economics or at least three years of relevant work experience Experience with accounting and financial reporting Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Good knowledge of the Office suite Experience with business systems, such as Agresso, SAP, or similar It is advantageous if you have experience with: Accounting, year-end closing, and reporting of grant-funded projects Agresso Finance work in an educational institution, research-intensive organization, or agency Budget and forecast work Supporting management or operational managers in financial matters Who are you? You have an analytical approach and can engage with financial matters, but also explain them in a clear and educational way to people who don't work with finance.
