The Role of Project Manager
We are looking for someone who wants to take on a key role and be part of the team from the beginning as we build up a new group. Here you will have the opportunity to lead, develop, and make an impact - in close collaboration with committed colleagues.
As a project manager, you will be a central force in our team building, but you will also be responsible for driving exciting and challenging facility projects, with a particular focus on industry.
As Project Manager, you are responsible for
· Leading and coordinating subordinate staff and, where applicable, skilled workers
· Overall responsibility for the implementation of assigned projects
· Ensuring that projects deliver expected results and cash flow
· Together with the rest of the project organization, setting engaging goals and finding efficient production solutions
· Participating in early phases and in bid work
· Ensuring that projects comply with defined time, quality, and cost frameworks, and that work is conducted in accordance with business system processes and documented appropriately
· Working for and ensuring a good work environment within your area of responsibility
· Quality assuring and optimizing project progress
· Personnel responsibility for assigned staff and responsibility for resource planning within production, including external resources
· Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
· Actively monitoring the market and identifying new business models and project opportunities
We are looking for someone with
· A degree in civil engineering, engineering, or equivalent qualification
· Several years of experience with facility projects in industry
· A commercial and strategic approach combined with good collaboration skills
· Solid experience in business and negotiation
· Very good knowledge of relevant laws, agreements, and decision-making processes
· A strong network within both private companies and public actors

In the role of Project Manager, you report to the Production Manager and are part of the production management team's leadership group.

About Civil West
The Civil SE West division operates within facilities in Gothenburg, Northern Halland, Älvsborg, and Bohuslän. The work covers the entire chain, from design and construction to production in civil and infrastructure projects. We are approximately 300 employees divided into four production areas and a specialist group.

Additional Information
The position is full-time and is permanent. You will be based in Gothenburg with opportunities for mobility and will work on our projects throughout our region. A background check will be conducted in accordance with our security culture. A B driver's license is required.
