Learn more on the university's website about working at Jobba hos oss | Lund University Tasks and responsibilities The mass spectrometry infrastructure at Lund University is seeking a project assistant. The role involves identifying small organic molecules using high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS). Although we primarily use HRMS to identify chemical substances and contaminants, knowledge of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is also required for verification. The infrastructure is part of LTH Open Labs (Mass Spec Lab LTH) and provides services to researchers and students at Lund University as well as external customers. Proficiency in both English and Swedish is therefore essential. Qualifications Requirements for employment: Doctoral degree in Chemistry Knowledge of analytical methods, such as HRMS or NMR. Fluent in English and Swedish, good computer skills, and analytical ability. Open-minded and team player Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Consideration will also be given to, among other things, good collaborative skills and independence, as well as how your experience and competence complement and strengthen the administrative work within the department and contribute to its future development. Other information This is a fixed-term position under SÄVA from 2026-10-01 to 2026-12-31. The position is part-time at 60%.
