Gymnastik- och idrottshögskolan, GIH, is Sweden's leading knowledge center for sports, performance development, physical activity, and health. At the Department of Health Sciences, we are now seeking reinforcement for the research project "PAradox". The research project aims to investigate overload in individuals with physically demanding work and evaluate a potential solution to promote a healthy balance between physical activity and recovery. Duties The duties include assisting with planning and conducting data collection at companies throughout Sweden, maintaining contact with study participants during the study, and after data collection, working together with other researchers in the project to analyze and compile collected data for publication in scientific articles. The work involves both independent tasks and collaboration within the research team. Travel will occur in connection with data collection. Qualifications To be eligible for employment, you must have: A master's degree in health science or sports science, or equivalent. Previous experience with field-based data collection in public health or sports science research, as well as conducting functional and performance tests and handling blood samples. The ability to be present at GIH and in the Stockholm region at least one day per week during the employment period. Meritorious We consider it meritorious to have previous experience working with participants or patients with different backgrounds, experiences, and conditions, where integrity and confidentiality are of great importance. Further, we consider it meritorious to have advanced statistical knowledge, including data handling and analysis, preferably via the statistical software R. Duration / Working Hours The employment is a fixed-term position of approximately 12 months. Start date will be as soon as possible by agreement. The employment corresponds to 50% full-time.
