Your Responsibilities As a Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for projects and sub-projects and work closely with affected parties to develop project directives with purpose, effect targets, budget, and timeline. You keep projects together throughout the entire process, approve scope, content, and deliverables, and follow up on finances, timeline, and effects at an overall level. The role also includes managing and reporting deviations and ensuring that projects are concluded in a structured manner and handed over to the appropriate organization. You represent the client side together with project owners, project leaders, and operations managers, among other things in steering committees and internal improvement forums. The role requires you to be able to move between different perspectives, create consensus, and contribute a clear project perspective to matters related to the organization's development. You also participate in management meetings when project-related issues are discussed. In your assignment, you are expected to contribute to clear and well-anchored projects, good financial control, and a working approach that strengthens the organization's ability to implement complex projects in a sustainable and appropriate manner. The goal is to create results that work over time and contribute to attractive environments for the municipality's residents. Your Qualifications Requirements Relevant post-secondary education in, for example, urban development, engineering, or economics. At least two years of experience in project management or project governance where you have been responsible for larger facilities or infrastructure projects. Experience with procurement and management of consultant and contractor services. Understanding of the urban development process. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Class B driver's license Meritorious Experience from the municipal sector. Experience as a consultant or contractor in the facilities field. Experience with financial reporting and project follow-up, preferably with project management tools. Experience conducting your own investigations. Project management training, client training, or leadership training. You thrive in a role where you can create structure in complex assignments and make everything come together. You bring different perspectives together, create consensus, and drive the work forward in a safe and clear manner. In your work style, you alternate between strategic thinking and operational implementation and adapt to what the situation requires. You build trust through an inclusive and attentive approach and collaborate without pretension with others to reach common goals.
