We are looking for a goal-oriented, responsible, and knowledgeable specialist to join our team as a Project Manager. This is an opportunity to participate in the preparation and implementation of projects important for the municipality's development, attracting funding and turning ideas into practical results. Prepare project applications, coordinate and/or manage projects or programs identified in Smiltenes Municipality's development plan, as well as prepare and implement other current projects;
monitor and inform about available funding sources, funds, support programs, and basic principles for obtaining financing; analyze opportunities for new project implementation and development;
control the completion of work tasks, compile information, and participate in report preparation; ensure compliance with project implementation deadlines and budget expenditures according to the budget; ensure timely preparation and submission of necessary project reports;
analyze opportunities for new project implementation;
participate in the preparation of municipal planning and other documents.
We value:
higher education in project management, economics, finance, business, or related field;
desired experience in project preparation and implementation;
excellent computer skills;
state language skills at an advanced level; good knowledge of English;
accuracy, high sense of responsibility, communication skills, analytical and strategic thinking;
ability to express and defend opinions, make independent decisions, work in a team.
