SIA "Rīgas meži" invites an Environmental Education Project Manager to join our team We are looking for a knowledgeable, creative, and passionate environmental education project manager who will help develop and implement environmental education programs and the "EkVidO" center, leading classes and promoting public understanding of nature, sustainability, and forest management. You will be responsible for: planning, organizing, and implementing environmental education activities – excursions, classes, volunteer workdays, and other educational events for diverse audiences; ensuring high-quality, interactive, and educational learning processes, adapting class content to meet the needs of different audiences; developing new environmental education classes and learning materials; attracting clients and tenants to the environmental education center, creating informative campaigns; participating in the implementation of the environmental education program's publicity and communication activities; participating in public events and representing SIA "Rīgas meži", promoting the "EkVidO" environmental education program; ensuring the daily operations of the "EkVidO" environmental education center, coordinating activities related to the center's operations and tenant-organized events; in collaboration with responsible structural units, preparing documents related to job duties, including rental agreements, procurement documentation, etc.; cooperating with colleagues and other structural units in developing the environmental education program. We expect you to have: higher education in the social sciences field; higher education in pedagogy, environmental education, or a related field is considered an advantage; at least 3 years of professional experience working with children and youth (in pedagogy, teaching, or non-formal education); experience and willingness to work with children, creating and leading educational excursions and classes at the "EkVidO" environmental education center in Tīnūži parish, Ogre municipality, as well as in other territories managed by SIA "Rīgas meži"; experience in planning and managing educational classes, events, or projects; good skills in working with MS Office, as well as willingness to use information technology and artificial intelligence solutions to improve work processes; good knowledge of Latvian and English languages for cooperation with foreign clients and partners; a proactive approach to work and a high sense of responsibility; good organizational skills; ability to independently plan your work, set priorities, and achieve goals; Category B driver's license.
