Project Coordinator

The Nature Conservation Agency announces a competition for a Project Coordinator position in the Financial Management Department's Project Division for an indefinite period (full-time). WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: higher education (preferably in project or financial management); experience in project and/or financial management (experience in project coordination and implementation will be considered an advantage); understanding of project planning, implementation, and monitoring processes, including management of projects funded by European Union Structural Funds or other foreign financial instruments (will be considered an advantage); knowledge of external regulatory requirements in state budget and financial management and the ability to apply them in practice; ability to plan, organize, and monitor project implementation, including financial monitoring; ability to analyze, systematize, and process large volumes of information and data; excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate project phases and team work; excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills; high accuracy, sense of responsibility, and initiative; ability to work independently, efficiently plan work, and function under high-intensity conditions; excellent knowledge of the state language and good English language skills necessary for performing job duties (communication with project partners). MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: coordinate and ensure project implementation in the institution, including monitoring project execution according to deadlines, budget, quality requirements, and planned results; organize project application preparation and submission to financial instrument project application platforms, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and guidelines, and provide support to involved employees in the application preparation process; ensure project monitoring and financial control, including tracking budget execution, financial flows, and efficient resource use; organize project monitoring meetings and working groups, prepare presentations, and ensure regular information exchange between project stakeholders; prepare project documentation, reports, and accounts (including interim and final reports), ensuring their compliance with funding requirements; prepare and maintain project results and documentation retention plans after project completion; participate in developing and implementing new project ideas, offering suggestions on project development opportunities; participate in developing internal regulatory acts and methodological materials within the scope of job competencies.
