WORK TASKS As a project and construction manager, you are responsible to the steering committee according to the current project organization for ensuring that projects are implemented efficiently and with the right balance between time, function, quality, economy, and work environment. You ensure that projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and government requirements. Your role also includes reviewing and approving incoming invoices within assigned investment projects, as well as conducting procurement and calling off consultant services and contracts. You may also be assigned by the department manager to handle other tasks within the operations. You are responsible for ensuring that systematic work environment efforts are conducted in the projects in accordance with work environment legislation and internal procedures, and that risk assessments are carried out as needed. To succeed in the role, you are structured and have a strong ability to prioritize. You enjoy working with many contacts and collaborate effectively with both internal and external parties. Since the work involves planning and monitoring schedules, it is important that you can meet deadlines and drive projects forward toward established goals. QUALIFICATIONS You have previous experience as a project and/or construction manager, or alternatively other relevant experience deemed equivalent. Experience from working with municipal infrastructure is a merit. The role also requires that you have good knowledge and experience in financial monitoring and analysis. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Ongoing. Start date by agreement; all our positions are preceded by a trial period.
