Are you an IT Project Manager with extensive experience supporting the architecture function and taking it to the next level of its development? Then you've found the right opportunity. This is for an upcoming assignment with a client that is one of Sweden's largest companies and is responsible for critical societal infrastructure. To meet future demands for robustness, security, cost-efficiency, flexibility, and shorter lead times, the client is undertaking extensive digitalization and modernization initiatives within both operations and IT. The client is seeking a senior consultant who can support the architecture function in the next phase of its development. The assignment encompasses both strategic work and concrete implementation and change management. You will contribute to establishing clear, purposeful, and long-term sustainable governance of architecture work and ensure that architectural capabilities develop in line with the company's strategic goals. The work takes place in close collaboration with architects, IT management, business representatives, security functions, OT operations, and other key stakeholders. The architecture function currently consists of approximately 15 employees and consultants within Enterprise, Business, Information, Domain, and Solution Architecture. The function has a company-wide mandate to lead and coordinate the company's architecture transition. As a consultant, you will work closely with the head of the architecture function and support both management and the architecture team in developing governance, roles, responsibilities, ways of working, and collaboration models within the architecture area. Location: Solna. Assignment duration: approximately 6 months. Responsibilities Architecture Governance Further develop the governance model, decision forums, and governance processes for the architecture function. Ensure clear links between strategy, portfolio management, architecture governance, and implementation. Define relevant guiding principles and decision mechanisms. Roles, Responsibilities, and Mandates Clarify responsibility distribution among Enterprise, Domain, Business, Information, and Solution Architects. Develop role descriptions, mandates, and responsibility matrices. Operative Model and Ways of Working Develop and document the architecture function's operative model. Clarify processes, working methods, deliverables, and quality criteria. Support implementation and anchoring of new ways of working. Change Management and Anchoring Drive change activities linked to the continued development of architectural capability. Support work in communicating the vision, governance, and ways of working to various stakeholder groups. Management Support Serve as strategic support to the head of the architecture function. Prepare decision-making materials, presentations, and recommendations for management groups and governance forums. Requirements At least 10 years of experience with IT governance, business development, architecture governance, and management consulting. Documented experience developing and implementing operative models for IT and/or architecture governance. Multiple years of experience leading change initiatives in complex organizations. Documented experience establishing roles, responsibilities, governance models, and ways of working within the architecture area. Experience working in larger corporations with multiple business areas and many stakeholders. Operative models for IT, portfolio, and architecture governance. Organizational development and change management. Governance, decision structures, and responsibility distribution. Communication and anchoring work at management level. Preparation and packaging of decision-making materials and presentation materials for management groups and governance forums. Solid experience with established architecture and governance frameworks such as TOGAF, SAFe, or equivalent. Ability to pragmatically adapt methods and frameworks to business needs. Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious Experience from energy, power grid, or other critical societal operations.
