Project Manager Technical Investigations

A Snapshot of Your Day Are you a dedicated project manager who would thrive working in a dynamic product organization? We are now seeking a Project Manager to support our customers with technical investigations for our SGT 600-800! The Product Lifecycle Office is responsible for SGT 600-800 products throughout their entire product lifecycle, from development to long-term service maintenance. This includes product support, root cause analysis (RCA), responsibility for incident reports, and providing third-level customer support for technical questions. We are also responsible for customer communication strategy related to product information. As a Project Manager for Technical Investigations, you will have a unique opportunity to work on high-impact problem solving. Your task is to lead a project team to investigate complex technical issues by identifying the underlying root cause, analyzing what can be done to prevent it from occurring in the future, or to mitigate the consequences if it does. This role gives you the opportunity to have significant responsibility and impact on the success of our business! How You Will Make an Impact Lead and execute task force projects for significant site and fleet issues to support rapid solution development and site implementation in accordance with the PIP process. Lead a team of technical engineers and experts to identify the root cause of major engineering problems in accordance with the PIP process. Be responsible for communicating investigation status to internal and external customers and follow the agreed review process. Take responsibility for final documentation of RCA and ensure that newly identified or unresolved issues requiring further action are handed over to the responsible function. Structure and plan project activities in a timely manner and in accordance with agreements we have with our customers. Actively work on customer care and customer satisfaction in your projects. What You Bring Previous experience in international operations, such as sales or project management. Good overall knowledge of gas turbines and general technical engineering knowledge. Knowledge of our products and markets, or experience from the oil and gas industry and power generation is advantageous. Team spirit and strong collaboration skills with diverse people and cultures.
