Programmer (iFenix Business System)

Description:

Genesis IT is developing the next generation business and operations system iFenix and is seeking an experienced systems developer/programmer. iFenix is a fully cloud-based system where our customers manage cash registers, purchasing, customer & vendor accounting, web & e-commerce and more through a web browser. The system also includes apps for iPhone/Android as well as customized backend functionality. With us, you will work with a system that is entirely developed in-house from the ground up. We work in an agile process where you as a developer are involved every step of the way from planning to finished result. We have a modern and technically well-functioning environment with our own server facility and our backend is based on custom-developed frameworks, which means you have the opportunity to work close to the architecture and technical choices that are tailored to our needs. We would like to see that you have knowledge and experience working with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5 and MySQL. Previous experience with Linux (Debian) is a merit, particularly work with web servers, log analysis and troubleshooting. You understand system workflows, are comfortable troubleshooting technical processes and take own initiative to identify and solve problems. A summary of our technology platform We work with PHP/JavaScript/HTML5/MySQL against a frontend framework called EXT JS. The interface to our business system is written in Swedish and ALL our source code is written with Swedish naming conventions for database fields, functions & variables. You therefore need to have a very good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Your qualities You are a team player who enjoys challenges and new technology. You have a few years of experience with programming/systems development. You take personal responsibility for your tasks and can independently drive the work forward in dialogue with our internal project managers. Merits Experience/knowledge of some MVC framework, e.g. EXT JS/Angular/React. Previous experience with web/systems development for business systems. Advanced knowledge of databases, especially MySQL.
