Program Controller – Consulting Assignment in Gothenburg

We are looking for an experienced Program Controller for a consulting assignment with our client in Gothenburg. You will have a central role in a major vehicle program and work closely with program management and several cross-functional departments to manage investments, costs, and profitability. About the Assignment As Program Controller, you are responsible for developing quality-assured financial materials and actively contributing to the program's decisions. You monitor the program's financial performance and help the business achieve its set targets. Your responsibilities include: Monitor program costs, investments, and profitability Ensure accurate financial materials for the program's decision points Analyze and explain deviations and identify cost-driving activities Manage cost trackers and financial forecasts Develop analyses, investigations, and business cases to support decisions Coordinate financial inputs from program management, development, production, and procurement Present financial performance clearly to various stakeholders We are looking for someone with: 7–10 years of experience in controlling or qualified analyst roles Very strong analytical skills and experience with financial tracking Very strong Excel and data management skills Experience setting, monitoring, and steering toward financial targets Strong project management and coordination skills Understanding of cost and revenue drivers in the automotive industry Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with many different stakeholders As a person, you are self-driven, motivated, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking initiative for improvements. Practical Information Assignment type: Consulting assignment Scope: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week Location: Gothenburg, on-site work Start: September 1, 2026, or by agreement Duration: Approximately six months IMPORTANT!
