Are you a structured and experienced Program Controller looking to work 50% in Stockholm? Lernia is now seeking a thorough and analytical person for an assignment with one of our clients. This role is perfect for you if you thrive with financial reporting, analysis, and contributing to efficient management of programs and projects. This is a part-time position at 50% with placement in Stockholm. Start date is in August and the assignment is time-limited with the possibility of extension or transition to another form of employment depending on operational needs. About the Role As a Program Controller, you will support program management with financial control, monitoring, and reporting. You will be a key person in working with budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to ensure the program achieves its goals within set parameters. Your main responsibilities include: Establishment and monitoring of budgets and forecasts Monthly financial reporting to steering committee and management Reconciliations against projects and cost bearers Analysis of cost drivers, deviations, and recommendations for action Development and improvement of reporting and governance models Collaboration with project controllers, finance and project organization Participation in meetings and presentations to communicate financial status and recommendations About You Formal Qualifications Relevant financial education at university level or equivalent Several years of experience in a controller or finance function, preferably in program or project management Good experience with budget work, forecasts, and financial analysis Proficiency with financial systems and Excel at an advanced level (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) Good communication skills in Swedish, spoken and written Meritorious It is meritorious if you have experience with: Project or program management methodology (e.g., MSP, PMP or equivalent) ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar Financial modeling and automated reporting Working in cross-functional teams and in change-driven environments As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You have good collaborative skills, can prioritize and work independently, and are comfortable communicating financial insights to both finance professionals and non-financial stakeholders.
