PROFESSIONAL SHEET METAL WORKER NEEDED FOR SWEDALA ROOF Are you an experienced sheet metal worker who values quality, responsibility, and seeing a project through from start to a finished, polished result? We have many exciting projects ahead and are now seeking a self-directed and professional sheet metal worker who wants to become an important part of our team in Kristianstad. WHAT DOES THIS ROLE ENTAIL? As a sheet metal worker at Swedala Tak, you are a key part of our roofing projects. You are responsible for ensuring that sheet metal work is performed correctly, carefully, and with a result that both seals tight and looks good. You will work with, among other things: Manufacturing and installing sheet metal components Bracketing and sheet metal cladding Flashing and gutter brackets Sheet metal work around chimneys, roof windows, and penetrations Band capping Measuring and fitting sheet metal Installation according to drawings, work descriptions, and applicable industry standards Repair and renovation of existing sheet metal work Other miscellaneous work within building sheet metalwork You work closely with our roofers and other trade professionals to create a complete and professional roof together. WHAT DO WE REQUIRE FROM YOU? First and foremost, we're looking for someone who knows their craft and takes pride in what they deliver. You are efficient without cutting corners, thorough without getting bogged down, and you see what needs to be done to complete the project. We'd like to see that you: Have training or previous experience as a sheet metal worker Have experience with building sheet metalwork and roof work Can read drawings, sketch plans, and work descriptions Are experienced in measuring, manufacturing, and installing sheet metal components Have a good understanding of how the various roof details should be executed to be waterproof and durable Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks Enjoy working with others Are solution-oriented and have high work ethic Are thorough, reliable, and responsible Hold a Class B driver's license You don't need to know everything from day one.
