We are now seeking a Professor of Media and Communication Science with a start date according to agreement.
Description and Responsibilities
The position includes research, teaching, supervision, seminar leadership, collaboration, and administrative work. The appointment includes 30% faculty-funded research on a continuing basis. The professor is expected to initiate research projects and actively seek research funding, preferably in collaboration with other researchers, and generally contribute to the further development of the subject and department.
Qualifications for Appointment as Professor
To be qualified for appointment as a professor in Media and Communication Science, an applicant must have demonstrated both scientific and pedagogical proficiency within the field of Media and Communication Science (4 chap. 3 § Higher Education Ordinance).
Required language proficiency in Swedish or another Scandinavian language, as well as good knowledge of English to conduct teaching at all educational levels, is a requirement for the position.
