About the Job:
You will work together with production management, production engineers, and operators with the goal of developing efficient and sustainable manufacturing.
The length and scope of assignments vary depending on the client's needs. Work takes place primarily at the client's location, which means weekly commuting, daily commuting, and/or remote work may occur, all depending on where you live and what suits the client. Assignments will primarily be located in Southern Sweden. You should be prepared to occasionally need to stay overnight away during the week for periods of 3 weeks to 6 months (accommodation is arranged by the client; mileage reimbursement and meal allowances are paid according to current regulations).
Education and/or Competence:
- University degree in Engineering or vocational higher education (YH) in a relevant field
- Experience as a production engineer or supervisor in manufacturing
Meritorious if you have knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Work study methods SAM, AVIX, PROKON, or other methods
- Assembly work, welding, and/or painting
- Project management and development of production processes/workflows
- Lean and Six Sigma methods
As a Person:
You are interested, analytical, and take initiative to solve problems. Additionally, it is important that you are structured, responsible, and can plan and prioritize your work. Since the work involves extensive report writing and documentation in Swedish, it is crucial that your language skills are very strong and that you are comfortable expressing yourself in writing. The work involves many contact points at several levels in our clients' organizations, so it is important that you have good communication skills.
The Ideal Candidate:
We believe you are at a stage where you want to grow into the role of production engineering consultant and are determined to develop long-term with us. You likely have a practical background from industry combined with further education or a recently awakened interest in new areas of responsibility. We are looking for someone who wants to learn our working methods from the ground up and who is unpretentious about the tasks required to provide real value to the client. At Prokon, we are both flexible and persistent; we expect you to have the patience to carry out the in-depth and sometimes routine analyses that require more than what the client's own staff can manage.

You must have a valid driver's license (category B) and access to a car.
