About the Position Perido is recruiting a production technician for our client, a well-known player in the automotive industry. You will be based at the office located in Skövde. Your Responsibilities As a production technician, you will work on developing and streamlining production processes through both continuous improvement work and smaller projects. The role involves close collaboration with operations and a focus on creating safe, quality-focused, and efficient working methods in production. Key responsibilities: - Lead and drive smaller projects within production and process development - Plan, estimate, negotiate, and take responsibility for procurement and installation - Develop, create, and update work instructions and standards - Analyze and improve assembly processes, for example through time studies and line balancing - Conduct risk assessments and follow up on quality controls - Identify bottlenecks and drive improvement work according to LEAN principles - Implement new methods, working practices, and techniques in production - Work with FMEA and follow-up on corrective actions Your Qualities To thrive in this role, you are analytical, meticulous, and solution-oriented with a strong drive. You take initiative readily, take responsibility, and ensure that work moves forward from planning to implementation.
