In this role, you'll combine technology, problem-solving, and development work. You have a natural interest in how technology, methods, and work processes can be developed to create smarter processes, better workflows, and more efficient production. About the Production Technician Role As an applicant, you have a strong interest in technology and are interested in continuously learning new things. You are comfortable communicating in English and can explain technical questions in an easily understandable way while providing friendly service. You want to work on improvement initiatives and have the ability to bring people along on the journey. The position involves close collaboration with the project group, production managers, current production technicians, maintenance, operators, and quality engineering. Responsibilities as a Production Technician: Develop and improve assembly processes Optimize assembly flows through work with assembly sequences, balancing, cycle times, and production methods Prepare and implement product changes in assembly flows, including work instructions, tools, and production setup Drive both smaller and larger investment projects, from feasibility studies and planning to installation and commissioning Identify, analyze, and solve technical problems and production disruptions Drive improvement initiatives in production technology and in close collaboration with other functions in the factory Further develop and improve internal work processes and methods Here you get a role where you not only manage today's production but are also building tomorrow's. You will be an important part of creating a production that is smarter, more efficient, and better equipped for future demands. Work is during daytime hours, 06:48-15:30, with flexibility. You will work on-site at the factory in Vara. For the production technician role, we are looking for someone who has: Production technical education from a technical college, university, or equivalent At least 2 years of experience as a production technician, preferably with a focus on assembly processes. Swedish & English in speech & writing Knowledge of improvement work Driver's license category B Meritorious: Good experience with assembly balancing and time setting, for example according to MTM-SAM Experience with production and flow simulation in, for example, inFACTS Studio or PlantSim Experience with layout work and factory planning in AutoCAD Knowledge of leak testing and experience in industrial painting Knowledge in RobotStudio As a person, you are forward-thinking and self-driven. You dare to ask questions but can also take own initiative when needed. You enjoy taking responsibility and working within broad parameters.
