This production technician position is located in Lund, where they have a factory with approximately 150 employees. Responsibilities As a production technician, you play a central role in ensuring stable, efficient, and quality production. The role is highly operational and you spend most of your workday in operations, working closely with operators, production managers, and other technical functions. You are responsible for ensuring that production equipment, machinery, and processes function optimally while driving improvement initiatives that contribute to increased efficiency and operational reliability. Your workday is varied and alternates between handling acute technical challenges, supporting production in daily work, and driving long-term development and improvement projects. Your responsibilities include, among others: Troubleshooting and technical support to production during downtime and other technical challenges Development and improvement of production equipment, machinery, and processes Planning and implementation of preventive maintenance as well as monitoring of service and calibration schedules Installation, relocation, and commissioning of machinery and production equipment Preparation of technical documentation, instructions, and service plans Coordination with machinery suppliers and external service partners as needed Participation in production and improvement projects for increased quality, productivity, and delivery precision Education, experience, and personal qualities Requirements Experience as a production technician or in a similar technical role in manufacturing industry Experience with troubleshooting and work with production equipment Good technical understanding in mechanics, mechanical engineering, electrical systems, or automation Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Merits Experience from electronics production or circuit board manufacturing Experience from automated production environments and improvement work in production We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are primarily looking for someone who thrives in an operational and operations-focused role.
