We are now looking for an experienced and driven Production Technician who wants to take a key role in developing our manufacturing processes and contribute to creating even more efficient, sustainable, and competitive production. About the Role As a Production Technician at KABE, you will have a central role in our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with production, plant managers, engineering, quality, and other support functions to develop processes, work methods, and production flows. The role involves significant individual responsibility and offers the opportunity to influence both daily operations and the company's long-term development. You will be an important driving force in improvement and change work and serve as a natural support to operations managers on production technical matters. Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: · Lead and implement production technical improvement projects. · Develop and optimize production processes, methods, and work practices. · Work with line balancing, capacity analyses, and flow optimization. · Conduct work and method studies to improve productivity and ergonomics. · Be responsible for preparation and development of production documentation. · Participate in development projects and ensure efficient industrialization of new products. · Work with layout changes and development of the production environment. · Conduct risk assessments related to work environment, safety, and chemical handling. · Be an important link between development, production, and other functions. · Support operations in Lean work and structured improvement initiatives. Your Profile We are looking for someone with several years of experience in production technical work within manufacturing industry and who enjoys combining operational presence in production with strategic development work. You likely have: · College education in mechanical engineering, industrial economics, production engineering, or equivalent experience. · Several years of experience in production engineering and operations development. · Good understanding of manufacturing processes, material flows, and production management. · Experience with Lean Production and structured improvement work. · Experience in project management and change management. · Good knowledge of the Office suite. · Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English. Desirable Qualifications · Experience from the automotive industry or other advanced manufacturing. · Knowledge of line production and industrialization. · Experience with AutoCAD, Creo, M3 Infor, and Avix. · Experience with investments, layout projects, and production development.
