Production Technician for the Defense Industry

We are currently seeking two production technicians for a client in the defense industry in Karlskoga. We are looking for someone with experience in the role of production technician and/or education in production engineering or mechanics. About the Role As a production technician, you will work with the manufacturing of complex and high-tech products, where you will play a central role in ensuring a smooth and efficient production process. You will handle technical drawings and ensure that manufacturing documentation is correct. An important part of the work involves being hands-on in production, where you monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to identify and solve any problems that may arise along the way. You will also participate in regular meetings where you serve as an expert on production feasibility, ensure that new solutions are practically possible to manufacture, and contribute technical expertise to improve the production flow. The role of production technician is versatile and dynamic, where no two days are the same. Requirements At least 1 year of experience working in production engineering and/or post-secondary education with a focus on production engineering or mechanics Swedish and English, spoken and written The position is classified as a security-sensitive role. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security vetting and be approved according to applicable security regulations. This may include requirements for certain citizenship. Meritorious Qualifications Experience working in production, preferably technical production and within electrical work. Experience in electrical work, soldering, mechanics, and/or electrical assembly is highly valuable. Experience in similar work as a production technician within a similar industry.
