Jefferson Wells is now seeking an experienced production technician for a consulting assignment in Halmstad. About the Role As a production technician, you work closely with operators, manufacturing managers, and other technical functions. You are responsible for product and manufacturing-related matters within your area and contribute to developing work methods, processes, and production flows. The role involves both operational and long-term work where you are expected to identify improvement opportunities and drive activities that strengthen quality, delivery capability, and efficiency. Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Optimize manufacturing flows and manufacturing processes Analyze deviations and identify improvement measures Support operations with analysis of metrics and production data Ensure that new work methods and techniques can be implemented in production Handle failures related to manufacturing processes Develop and update process plans, instructions, and routings Participate in deviation management and improvement work Support operators in daily work Participate in operational meetings and drive activities from these Your Profile We are looking for someone with several years of experience as a production technician who thrives at the interface between technology, production, and operations development. We would like to see that you have: Relevant higher education or university degree in, for example, production engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar At least five years of experience as a production technician Experience with process-driven work and continuous improvement initiatives Good analytical ability and experience translating analyses into concrete actions Experience working closely with production and operational activities Good knowledge of Swedish and English Good proficiency with the Office package Experience with Creo Meritorious are experience from manufacturing, product development, and work in the business system IFS.
