About the Assignment We are looking for a production technician for a long-term consulting position at an industrial company in Skövde. The work takes place on-site at the foundry, and you will become part of the production technical team. About the Role As a production technician, you work closely with production and contribute to developing and improving processes in daily operations. You collaborate with colleagues in engineering, maintenance, operational safety, operators, and management to ensure stable and efficient workflows. The work includes, among other things: - Develop and document work instructions and standardized work procedures - Design manual workstations and shop layouts for better ergonomics and flow - Conduct measurements and analyze machine data to identify relationships and improvement potential - Participate in production and automation projects of varying scope The role involves both ongoing production technical improvement work and project participation. You will manage daily operations and drive improvements together with production. Your Profile You have an engineering degree, preferably with a focus on mechanical engineering or production, and experience from manufacturing or process-oriented industry. Experience from foundries is a plus. As a person, you are curious, engaged, and collaboration-oriented. You thrive with interaction in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with different professional groups, and actively share ideas and experiences.
