In Åtvidaberg, we specialize in systems integration and offer a wide range of resources and services for prototype and series production, final assembly, testing, and configuration of complete products. We also have specialized expertise in manufacturing medical devices and knowledge in advanced mechanical systems such as coin and paper handling.
We are now looking for a Production Technician with interest and knowledge in programming to join a growing company with an open culture!
Your Tasks
As a production technician, you will be a key person in Scanfil's organization as you and your colleagues create the conditions for stable, competitive production. You will work on maintaining and developing production setups and assembling lines for new products. Questions that production technicians face daily include how production can be developed to create additional value for the business and its customers, and what improvements need to be made to meet current and future challenges.
You will work with various system solutions such as internal logistics setups for efficient material flows, perform process mapping, measure manufacturing times, and set up assembly lines. Identifying problems and implementing solutions to digitalize, standardize, and integrate production processes is also part of your work.
Who Are We Looking For?
In production engineering, many investments with high automation levels such as AGVs, cobots, and material handling systems are now used, and often they must work together with other solutions and applications. We are therefore looking for someone with interest and knowledge in business systems with a focus on materials and production management as well as internal logistics. You see opportunities and are motivated by finding and driving improvements.
In your role, you will need to achieve results in collaboration with various functions such as project managers, production managers, and production personnel. Therefore, we see that you have good communication skills and must also have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
To succeed, we want you to have:
The ability to maintain structure in your work independently, both administratively and practically, and to carry out assignments.
Experience from manufacturing industry and are accustomed to working with standardized methods and procedures.
Education focused on production engineering, production economics, or education in materials and production management, or equivalent work experience.
