Your role with us
As a production technician with us, you will have an important role in developing our production. You will work to ensure efficient, sustainable and quality-assured processes and provide support to production in daily operations. You function as technical support in the business, participate in production teams' priorities and activities and contribute to developing both working methods and production flows.
Main responsibilities:
Drive improvement and investment projects from idea to implementation
Ensure that workplaces and processes are safe, ergonomic and efficient
Develop and update work instructions and standards
Prepare new products and manage product changes in production
Conduct balancing activities to create efficient and sustainable flows
Work actively with continuous improvements and LEAN methodology
Work location is Tidaholm Träcenter. Working hours are mainly during daytime. Travel may occur to a limited extent if needed.
What you need to succeed in this role
To succeed in the role, you have post-secondary education in production technology, mechanical engineering or equivalent. You have at least five years of experience as a production technician, production engineer or similar role in manufacturing industry. You have a good understanding of production processes and experience in driving improvement work that contributes to increased efficiency, quality and productivity.
You are accustomed to working with digital tools, have knowledge in quality, work environment and safety work and communicate fluently in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
Meritorious for the role is experience from the timber industry.
