Production Advisor to Östersund or Sundsvall We are growing and hiring more About the Role As a production advisor, you work actively with the development of farming operations with dairy and meat production. Växa's mission is to provide advisory services within feed, production economics, animal welfare, and management. You will also be part of our Sustainability team. Your main tasks include providing advice to our customers on site, particularly dairy farms. You are active in development and support at customer sites with feeding, feed planning, production economics, logistics, forage, milk quality, technology, and animal welfare. You will also, as part of our sustainability team, work with and shape the future of sustainable agriculture. Some of this advisory work will take place through our agreement with Arla, where we have a mandate to propose measures to reduce the farm's carbon footprint. Other tasks may include conducting courses for farmers, managing and participating in various development projects, and working within Greppa Näringen and other commissioned assignments from, for example, the County Administrative Board. Together with Växa's other personnel such as livestock technicians, breeding advisors, veterinarians, business advisors, building and crop cultivation advisors, we form teams around our customers to develop their enterprises. Your Profile We are looking for you who: Hold a degree in Agricultural Sciences, Animal Science, or equivalent academic education. Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Hold a category B driving license. It is an additional advantage if you have: Practical experience from farming. Worked as an advisor and/or salesperson in the industry. Knowledge in business economics and/or forage production. We place great emphasis on your personal drive and are looking for individuals with strong commitment and the ability to engage with people. You have a local team to rely on, but we expect you to take your own initiative, have a sense of order and organization, and work in a structured manner. The work is very independent, where you actively plan your customer visits. As a person, you are open and attentive with a clear business and customer focus. You find it easy to build good relationships and enjoy collaborating in teams.
