Production Planner for Defense Industry Company

ABOUT THE POSITION: As a Production Planner at our client in Landskrona, you'll be an important part of a growing production operation within the defense industry. They are in a startup phase and here you'll have the opportunity to come in early, take significant responsibility, and help shape both work methods and the team's development moving forward. You'll work closely with the responsible manager, activity leaders, and other functions within production and logistics. The role also involves close collaboration with the project organization at other locations, where you'll provide feedback on planning, priorities, and production progress. There is excellent opportunity for long-term development within production planning as the team and operation grow. In this role, you're primarily responsible for keeping detailed planning updated for different parts of production. You'll receive production information and then be responsible for planning, monitoring, and adjusting activities as needed in close dialogue with project management, activity leaders, and section managers. This is a role for someone who appreciates structure and detail, and wants to work close to a technical and practical production environment. You have significant individual responsibility and clear expectations, while also having plenty of experience and support available in the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan production activities based on the project's overall timeline, and monitor progress and adjust planning when circumstances change Communicate the production plan to activity leaders, section managers, and other affected functions, and participate in recurring meetings with the project organization Collaborate with production, project management, procurement, and logistics among others Contribute to the development of work methods and planning processes in an operation under development WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO: Has a few years of experience in production planning, project planning, or similar work Has technical education at post-secondary level or relevant experience from industry, production, or technical operations Is fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written Has good system skills and an easy time learning new business and planning systems Has an interest in technology, production, and industrial processes It's not necessary, but advantageous if you have: Excel skills Knowledge of Power BI, QlikView, or Qlik Sense Basic CAD skills or the ability to read technical drawings Experience in project management or work in a project organization Previous experience from manufacturing industry To thrive in this role, we believe you're a structured and detail-oriented person who enjoys working with plans, follow-up, and prioritization. At the same time, you're communicative and unpretentious and feel comfortable in an industrial environment where you need to collaborate with and build relationships with many different functions. Since the operation is still in development, you need to be self-sufficient and comfortable with the fact that everything doesn't always have a set work method from the start. You dare to ask for help when needed, but are also confident in driving your work forward independently. ABOUT THE POSITION: This is a consultant assignment, which means you'll be employed by Friday. This position requires that you undergo and are approved by the applicable security clearance requirements at any given time.
