What will you be working with?
As a production operator with us, you work together in a team to ensure our paint manufacturing and packaging filling occurs according to plans and market needs. Although you work in a team, some tasks may be performed individually. For your work, you will wear personal protective equipment according to applicable regulations for chemical handling. Clean and maintain order at the machines and areas you work in, and follow the safety regulations that apply to your tasks and department. You will receive training in chemical handling with a focus on hardplastics.
The following tasks are part of daily production work:
Manufacturing:
Recipe handling where you must follow and understand instructions and formulations
Perform all controls according to the manufacturing order
Handle raw materials such as dry and liquid materials in various containers
Color adjustment
Internal cleaning of containers
Sampling
Forklifting with reach trucks and stackers
Filling into packaging:
Recipe handling where you must follow and understand instructions
Perform all controls according to filling orders and checklists
Handling of packaging and labels
Print filling orders and pallet labels from SAP, our business system
Sampling
Transport of EU pallets with pallet jacks
Working hours: You will work in a 2-shift schedule as follows
Day shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m.–2:42 p.m., Friday until 12:42 p.m.
Evening shift: Monday-Thursday 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., Friday 12:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m.
Who are you?
Have completed upper secondary education with passing grades
Enjoy working physically and using your body in your work
Can work in an environment that demands high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
Speak, read, and understand Swedish very well. English is advantageous as it is AkzoNobel's official group language
Meriting, but not required, is a forklift license/previous experience in industry
To thrive in this role, you are driven by problem-solving and have an interest in industry. As a person, you are positive, open, and a good team player. Work will be performed both independently and as part of a team, which requires good collaboration skills and initiative-taking.
