Beslag & Metall is a family business located in Ekenässjön with over 85 years of experience in pressing, welding and assembly, where we continuously expand and renew our machinery with automatic presses and automation cells. We manufacture and deliver components primarily to the automotive industry and our largest customers are Volvo Trucks and Scania. We have approximately 230 employees, a turnover of approximately 950 million and need to strengthen the organization with a production manager for the tool department.
The tool department is responsible for both the design and manufacture of tools. We have at our disposal a modern machinery, consisting of several 3- and 5-axis multi-operation machines, wire cutting machines as well as manual milling machines, lathes and surface grinders. In addition to tool manufacturing, we provide technical support to the marketing department for new requests and changes to articles.

Your Tasks
In your role as production manager for the tool department, you will, together with the department manager, lead and develop the department and the approximately 20 employees working there. The position offers excellent opportunities to influence and put your own mark on the department's continued development.
Your main tasks include:
- Personnel responsibility, with a focus on leading, coaching and developing employees.
- Develop the department and drive improvement work
- Collaborate with other internal functions such as engineering, maintenance, procurement, planning, project management and quality. The role involves close cooperation with production.
- Ensure a good and safe working environment
- Lead and allocate work
- Set, follow up and analyze goals for both employees and the department as a whole.

Today you may be working as a tool maker, team leader, shift leader or designer and are ready to take the next step in your career. Experience in tool manufacturing and tool maintenance is an asset. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of Monitor ERP, Solid Works, Catia, Mastercam as well as have worked in the automotive industry.
