We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation services, remand facilities, and client transport. Job Description We are seeking a production manager for production at Tidaholm Facility. Tidaholm Facility has four main workshop areas: welding shop, mechanical industry, woodworking, and assembly and packaging. The production manager shall, under the supervision of a responsible prison officer and together with colleagues, plan and lead the operations. The purpose of the activities is both to provide clients with employment during their time in the facility and to provide practical experience. As a production manager, you will be responsible for guiding and instructing clients in, among other things, the workshop. You will work in close contact with clients and your work includes working in a structured manner to help clients and the operation reach established goals. You will also work in our production system, as well as with preventive maintenance and service. For us, it is important that you maintain order and organization in your work and keep the shared workplace in good condition. Your duties also include daily routine tasks such as inspections and other security-related work tasks. You will have varying tasks and will not be stationed at a single production area but will have a more mobile role. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is confident, stable, and has self-awareness. You find it easy to collaborate with other people and are a team player with well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have the ability to make correct assessments and prioritizations. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and adapt your way of communicating messages based on the recipient's circumstances. You must also have physical fitness that enables you to act physically if the situation requires it. We are seeking someone who has: Complete upper secondary school qualification in the form of final grades or upper secondary school diploma Previous work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish Good computer skills It is also advantageous to have: Post-secondary education in manufacturing industry, carpentry, sheet metal work, CNC, assembly, welding, safety work, etc. Work experience as a production manager/work supervisor. Work experience from the prison service, security work, social services, psychiatry, or care and welfare work.
