We are seeking a production manager for the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket).
This is a consulting assignment. The base location is Gothenburg.
The position is full-time.
The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.
The Assignment
Resource consultant production manager for the Sävenäs Rail Yard Reconstruction project.
Responsibilities
• Work with overarching coordination of production matters in the contract, for the client organization.
o Quality assurance of schedules and production planning
o Planning of logistics and transportation, access to necessary spaces
o Ensure material supply
• Quality assure and ensure constructability in design/build phase
• Monitor production as a whole with focus on progress and compliance with contract documents
• Ensure that control programs and control plans are followed and managed by the client organization and contractor
• Develop and implement work methods for production planning, production monitoring, and production control to ensure efficient and trouble-free production
• Ensure that work is performed according to schedules, budget, and applicable workplace and safety regulations
• Collaborate with project management, contractors, and subcontractors
• Document and report status, deviations, and proposed solutions
• Coordinate inspections and reviews that are part of the project
Requirements (NOTE: Mandatory)
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
a) Academic degree of 180 credits (120 points) in construction/infrastructure/railway, or a combination of education and experience that Trafikverket deems equivalent
b) At least 8 years of work experience as a construction/production manager in infrastructure. Work experience must not be older than 15 years.
c) At least 24 months combined experience with construction/production management in projects with total turnover of at least >300MSEK
d) Good knowledge of contract law such as AB, ABT, ABK and industry standards such as AMA and MER
e) Ability to express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious
For the client, it is added value if the resource consultant has experience with complex logistics coordination, preferably in a railway environment, and the ability to coordinate complex matters in infrastructure projects with many parallel technical disciplines and time-critical elements.
For the client, it is added value if the resource consultant has completed tender documents/construction specifications for execution contracts.
