Our organization in its current form is relatively new, which gives you great opportunities to influence, develop, and establish structure in the operation. Epiroc in Kalmar is in the midst of the largest expansion in the company's 60-year history due to consolidation of production within the group. Today we manufacture world-leading hydraulic products for the mining and construction industries, and now we are expanding this product range, which means growth in both capacity and personnel as well as revenue. We will take on new technologies in machining and heat treatment, expand our assembly operations, and prepare our technical laboratory to test and develop new, larger products. Your Mission As Production Manager, you will have a key role in production leadership and will be responsible for leading our team within machine processing. Together, you will ensure an efficient, sustainable, and flexible production flow. You report to the Production Manager and are an active member of Production's management team, where you work together to create world-class products and teams. We work closely together across functional boundaries and make use of both ideas and insights from our employees. In this role, you are responsible for a team of approximately 25 employees in the machine processing production section. As a leader, you are responsible for directing and distributing work toward established goals and for developing your employees through employee conversations, skills development, and active work environment initiatives. An important part of your assignment is also to create a safe work environment and strong cohesion within the group. Location and Travel This position is based in Kalmar, Sweden. You have a good understanding of production processes, preferably with technical expertise. You have work experience from industry and speak Swedish fluently as well as have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. As a person, you are a confident and present leader who creates engagement through trust, understanding, and participation. You have the ability to coach both individuals and teams toward shared goals and see continuous improvement as a natural part of everyday work.
