Sweden's most beautiful workplace is seeking a Production Leader Fairway Operations Group with placement in Trollhättan Fairway Operations Group, Locks and Canals The Fairway Operations Group is part of the Locks and Canals business area, which belongs to the Infrastructure Division at the Swedish Maritime Administration. The Locks and Canals business area is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the fairway between Gothenburg and Lake Vänern. The operations include, among other things, locks, bridges, fairways, work vessels, depots, and technical facilities along the Göta River, Säffle lock and canal, Södertälje lock and canal, as well as Falsterbo canal and barrier system. About the Position We are now seeking a Production Leader responsible for work supervision, planning, and coordination within the fairway operations in Trollhättan. As Production Leader, you are responsible for the daily work supervision of the Fairway Operations Group in Trollhättan consisting of six employees, a warehouse manager in Trollhättan, and a canal technician in Säffle. The group is seafaring and works operatively with the operation, maintenance, and development of fairways, facilities, and maritime functions within the operational area. The Production Leader reports to the Maintenance Manager. The position involves broad responsibility where you lead and plan operations with a focus on safety, accessibility, work environment, and efficient resource utilization. Travel within the operational area and standby duty during winter is expected. The position includes, among other things: Lead and distribute daily work within the Fairway Operations Group Responsible for personnel planning, work environment, and resource management Responsible for planning the operation's emergency preparedness and winter organization Plan, coordinate, and follow up on operation and maintenance efforts within fairway operations Coordinate contractors and external suppliers Ensure documentation and follow-up in the operation's maintenance system Responsible for chemical handling and associated permits and follow-up Responsible for issues related to hazardous materials Manage and follow up on contracts, regulatory requirements, and various operational permits Responsible for materials, machinery, and equipment within the assigned area Contribute to development of working methods, routines, and safety work Who Are You? We are looking for someone who has: Technical education or equivalent experience Experience in work supervision or production management within operation, maintenance, industry, contracting, marine operations, or other technical activities Experience with operation and maintenance work Good administrative and digital skills Experience working with maintenance systems Driver's license category B Experience with work environment and safety issues It is advantageous if you have: Sea experience or experience working at sea Experience with seafaring operations or work vessels Experience working with chemicals, hazardous materials, or permit-required operations We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
