Production Estimator / Technical Quote Specialist

You'll analyze what needs to be produced, how it should be manufactured, and what resources are required—translating this into a clear and well-founded cost picture. Your responsibilities: - Develop production estimates based on materials, labor hours, resources, and production methods - Calculate costs and prepare documentation for pricing and quotations - Analyze drawings, technical descriptions, and quantity specifications - Assess production setup, time requirements, and resource needs - Identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities in various projects - Conduct technical reviews with production, project management, sales, and customers - Provide technical support in the quotation and sales process - Follow up on estimates against actual results and contribute to improved accuracy over time - Identify and develop methods that make estimation more efficient and reliable We believe you're someone who enjoys understanding how things are actually produced and what it takes for a project to be both technically and economically feasible. You're analytical and meticulous, but also unpretentious and communicative. You enjoy collaborating with different professional roles and are comfortable asking questions, challenging solutions, and driving work forward. We'd like you to have: - Experience in production estimation, cost calculation, quote preparation, or a similar technical-commercial role - Understanding of production, manufacturing, or industrial processes - Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation - Good understanding of materials, labor hours, and resource requirements - Strong computer skills and experience with Excel or calculation systems - Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written Experience from manufacturing industry is a merit.
