WORK RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you are responsible for driving and coordinating continuous improvement efforts in production in Hultsfred. You will analyze production flows to identify bottlenecks, efficiency opportunities, and work steps that can be simplified or improved. A central part of the role is also to develop the company's processes and digital work methods, as well as ensuring that the ERP system effectively supports the business processes. Your main responsibilities include: Drive and coordinate improvement efforts and Kaizen activities, and work with Lean methods such as 5S, value stream mapping, standardized work, and visual management. Analyze production and material flows, production planning, capacity, and lead times to identify improvement opportunities. Map, document, and develop production and operational processes, and create clear and standardized work methods, work instructions, and process descriptions. Identify interfaces between different functions and improve information flow throughout the organization – from sales and orders through planning, procurement, inventory, and production to delivery. Be the company's contact person and requirements owner in the development of the ERP system, and develop and standardize work methods in the system. Ensure quality in master data, parameters, and system structures, and identify manual work steps that can be simplified, automated, or digitalized. Drive smaller system and improvement projects and serve as a link between operations, internal IT resources, and external system providers. Develop relevant KPIs and create data-driven monitoring of, for example, productivity, capacity, lead times, and delivery accuracy. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a technical educational background, preferably as an engineer in production, logistics, industrial economics, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have built up equivalent expertise through several years of work in manufacturing industry. You have experience in production technology, process development, or continuous improvement work, and a good understanding of Lean principles and how they are applied in practice. To succeed in this role, you also need good systems understanding and experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing operation. You do not need to be a system developer, but you understand the connection between operational processes, information flows, and system support, and can serve as a clear requirements owner towards IT and external system providers. Experience in digitalization, automation, MES, WMS, BI tools, or development of KPI and monitoring systems is a merit. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. At the same time, you thrive close to operations and have a genuine interest in how technology, systems, and people can together create an efficient production. You have the ability to move from analysis and data to the shop floor, understand everyday challenges, and work with employees to turn ideas into working solutions. You are communicative and pedagogical and have an easy way of building trust at different levels in the organization. You enjoy driving change, taking initiative, and are motivated by seeing concrete results of your work. ABOUT THE POSITION The production engineer position is located at Team Tejbrant's facility in Hultsfred, where administration, production, inventory, and design are all under one roof. You will report directly to the site manager and will have great opportunities to initiate and drive improvement and development activities. This role is central to Team Tejbrant's continued development as part of Lehtovuori Group and in the work to create modern, efficient, and scalable production.
