Södra Malmförädling Maintenance is now strengthening its organization to create clearer leadership, increased operational reliability, and better conditions for more planned and preventive maintenance. We are therefore seeking two production managers who want to lead people, develop work methods, and translate goals and priorities into practical action. Your Role As a production manager, you are a first-line manager with overall responsibility for leading, developing, and following up on operations within your area of responsibility. You are responsible for employees, work environment, safety, results, and development, and ensure that the organization's goals are translated into practical implementation. You work closely with both employees, colleagues, and internal partners to create conditions for well-functioning maintenance. The role involves a clear focus on leadership, prioritization, coordination, and development of work methods. Our Areas of Expertise Within Södra Malmförädling Maintenance (SMU), we operate in several different areas of expertise, including: Mechanical Maintenance Tribology and Lubrication Technology Industrial Assembly/Piping As a production manager, you are expected to contribute to the whole and collaborate across organizational boundaries to ensure dynamic and sustainable maintenance operations. Experience in one or more of these areas is advantageous, but we place great emphasis on documented leadership experience and the ability to develop people, work methods, and operations. What You Bring We are looking for you – a confident and experienced leader with documented experience in a management or leadership position. You have a strong ability to create structure, build trust, and develop both people and operations. You are clear, communicative, and unpretentious in your leadership, with the ability to create engagement, participation, and results through others. The position requires: Experience in personnel management and operational responsibility Previous experience as a manager or in another leadership position Experience from industrial operations, maintenance, or production Driver's license (Class B) Upper secondary education Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious: Experience in mechanical maintenance within process, mining, or manufacturing industry. Experience in tribology, lubrication technology, or condition-based maintenance. Experience in industrial assembly, pipe maintenance, or other specialized maintenance operations. Experience in operations with high demands on safety, operational reliability, and availability. Experience in change and improvement work. Experience in collaboration between operations, maintenance, and other support functions.
