Production Manager at Arvika Gjuteri

Do you want to lead a modern production operation in Arvika? As Production Manager, you will have strategic responsibility, a seat in the management team, and a key role in the company's development. RESPONSIBILITIES As Production Manager, you have overall responsibility for daily production and actively work to develop the operation toward increased efficiency, quality, and delivery precision. You lead and coach the production supervisors and create conditions for good collaboration, clear management, and a shared focus on operational goals. The role is both operational and strategic. You drive improvement efforts, develop methods and processes, and ensure effective production planning. An important part of the assignment is to create structure through regular and well-conducted production meetings where follow-up, prioritization, and problem-solving are in focus. You also play an important role in the company's continued digitalization. In the coming years, development and replacement of business and production-related systems are planned, where you will be a central requirement setter and change leader responsible for ensuring that systems support the operation's needs. As a member of the management team, you participate in the company's strategic development and contribute a production perspective to overall business and operational matters. The role includes close collaboration with other functions within the company, where you contribute to a holistic perspective and long-term development work. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a confident and clear leader with the ability to combine a strategic perspective with present and engaged leadership in daily operations. You create structure, build trust, and get people to work toward common goals. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Experience leading production in manufacturing industry. Documented experience in personnel management, preferably through managing managers or supervisors. Good understanding of production management, improvement work, and operational development. An interest in digitalization and very good system skills, preferably with experience of business or production systems and system implementations. Ability to analyze data and use digital tools to support decision-making and follow-up. Good communication skills and experience leading effective meetings and creating clarity in the organization. Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a person, you are structured, unpretentious, and solution-oriented. You are analytical, driven, and have the ability to translate strategy into practical action. At the same time, you are an attentive leader who creates engagement, develops your employees, and contributes to a positive company culture.
