We are now seeking a Production Manager who wants to take full responsibility for Lyreco's logistics production and play a key role in the continued development of our distribution center in Växjö.
As Production Manager, you are responsible for all operational production. Your mission is to ensure an efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation where people, technology, and processes work together to deliver the highest possible quality to our customers.
The role has a strong focus on production management, automation, technical development, and capacity optimization. You will lead the operation through an organization consisting of approximately 120 employees, including Inbound Manager, Outbound Manager, team leaders, and technicians. We are not just looking for a manager who maintains the operation – we are looking for a leader who wants to develop it.
You will be part of Supply Chain's management team and have significant influence over the future organization, production setup, and technical development.
Your mission
Increase productivity through improved processes, work methods, and technology solutions.
Optimize automation solutions for higher capacity and quality.
Ensure maximum availability of production equipment and technical systems.
Build a more data-driven production through clear KPIs and monitoring.
Develop structures for preventive and critical maintenance.
Create a long-term plan for organization, competency supply, and shift arrangements.
Establish a strong performance and improvement focus throughout the operation.
Create a clear "sense of urgency" where production is characterized by accountability, pace, and quality awareness.
We believe that you today work in a leadership role in an automated production operation within warehouse, e-commerce, manufacturing industry, or other operations with high demands on flow optimization and automation. You have a genuine interest in technology and are driven by developing modern production environments where people and automation interact to create the best possible results.
To succeed in this role, you have academic education in, for example, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Economics. You have good knowledge of MS Office and warehouse management systems and speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
