VEM is recruiting a Production Manager for Arcos Hydraulik to take responsibility for further developing production in an operation with a strong market position, high technical expertise, and ongoing growth phase. Arcos Hydraulik is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and specialized products. As Production Manager, you will have a key role in developing the organization, work methods, and production flows while leading two operations with extensive experience and high specialist expertise. About the Position As Production Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing, and optimizing production in the operations. You drive the development of organization, processes, and work methods with a focus on productivity, quality, delivery precision, and work environment. The assignment involves ensuring that the operation uses its time, expertise, and resources in the best possible way while creating structure, priorities, and conditions for a more proactive approach. Production is facing the next step in its development, with a focus on creating greater efficiency, clearer structures, and increased collaboration between the operations. You are expected to drive improvement initiatives, identify development areas, and create long-term conditions for continued growth and competitiveness. You lead a production organization of approximately 60 employees through production managers and other key functions. You work closely with production engineering, planning, logistics, procurement, and quality. Your responsibilities encompass both daily operations and longer-term development and improvement work. As part of the local management team, you are expected to actively contribute to the operation's continued development and future direction. About You We are seeking someone with solid experience from a leadership role in manufacturing industry who has successfully worked on developing and optimizing production operations. You have experience with change management, continuous improvement, and achieving results through others. You also have a good understanding of how people, processes, and technology work together to create efficient production. You likely come from an environment where planning, capacity utilization, operations monitoring, and continuous improvement have been central to the role. Experience with Lean and structured improvement work is important for success in this position, as is knowledge of work environment, quality, and safety. Good system skills are a requirement, and experience with Monitor ERP is a plus. You speak Swedish and English fluently, both verbally and in writing.
