As Production Manager, you have overall responsibility for production in paper and pellets, from raw materials to finished product. You lead an organization of approximately 160 employees through seven operations managers in a 24/7 operation and are responsible for results, quality, occupational health and safety, and efficiency. The role combines operational leadership with strategic development, where you drive improvement initiatives, develop processes, and strengthen the organization to create increased responsibility and authority throughout the operation. What we are looking for in you We are looking for someone with relevant academic education and/or solid background from process industry as well as documented experience in leading production through other managers. You have a good overall understanding of both production and business and are accustomed to working in complex organizations with high demands for quality, efficiency, and delivery. You combine operational effectiveness with strategic perspective and have the ability to drive change in an operation where the pace of development needs to increase. Experience in improvement work, efficiency optimization, and developing working methods is central. As a leader, you are clear, communicative, and relationship-building. You have the ability to create alignment, build trust, and drive change in collaboration with both employees and union representatives. You are business-minded, structured, and have a coaching leadership style that contributes to developing both the organization and individuals. You master Swedish and English in speech and writing and have good experience in collaborating both internally and with external parties. Employment The position as Production Manager is permanent full-time with placement in Grycksbo. You report to the Plant Manager and participate in the management team.
