Product Manager, Analytics Data Would you like to lead and develop a central capability for data-driven business development? As Product Manager for Analytics Data at the Swedish Public Employment Service, you'll have a key role in creating the conditions for stable, secure, and sustainable long-term data delivery. Department Mission The department brings together expertise and technical capabilities within data warehouse and analytics data. The Product Manager provides resources and expertise to IT products that develop and maintain solutions based on business needs. The role includes both management of existing data warehouses and continued development toward a modern, integrated, and scalable data warehouse capability. About the Role As product manager, you lead development and ensure that the right expertise and capacity are available for IT products. You work closely with other product managers, managers, architects, business representatives, and stakeholders. You have a unifying responsibility for analytics data's capability, capacity, and long-term development. You translate business and IT product needs into a shared direction and create conditions for efficient delivery. You are not responsible for IT product prioritization, but you ensure that the product can contribute with the right resources, expertise, technical conditions, and working methods. An important part of the role is therefore to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term development, workforce planning, technical debt, and lifecycle management. As Product Manager for Analytics Data, you are responsible for: Leading the product's strategic development and creating vision, target state, and development plan Ensuring that IT products receive the right expertise and capacity based on business needs Coordinating planning and priorities with other product managers, architects, managers, and stakeholders Developing shared working methods and technical capabilities within data warehouse and analytics data Ensuring sustainable balance between development, management, operations, security, and lifecycle management Monitoring the product's delivery capability, quality, finances, risks, and contribution to business value The role involves close collaboration with the IT products that the product supports. Together you create a functioning whole where business needs, product priorities, architecture, and technical feasibility meet. Basic Requirements Relevant university degree, for example in systems science, computer science, industrial economics, or management, or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way At least 5 years of documented experience with large data warehouses, data platforms, and Business Intelligence At least 5 years of documented experience leading or coordinating expertise and resources across multiple teams or deliveries At least 2 years of documented experience in product management and agile development At least 2 years of documented experience working in a large and complex organization, for example from a government agency or IT company At least 5 years of documented experience demonstrating understanding of the interplay between business needs, product management, architecture, and technical development Strong ability to analyze, structure, and prioritize complex information with multiple built-in business rules At least 5 years of documented experience in competency, capacity, or vendor management At least 5 years of documented experience leading strategic development and working with target state/development plans Other Merits for the Position Experience with modernization and migration of data warehouses Knowledge of information modeling, data modeling, and data quality Experience with competency, capacity, or vendor management Knowledge of information security and modernization/migration of complex large data warehouses Relevant training or certifications in agile methods, SAFe, or Product Management Experience with portfolio management The state's core values guide us in our daily work.
