Product Owner / IT Project Manager Do you want to use your technical expertise to make a real difference? At the Swedish Red Cross, you contribute to solutions that support volunteers across the country – in an organization that saves lives every day. We now need an additional colleague who can drive digital development and manage our IT systems! About the roleIn this role, you are responsible for developing and managing digital services. Initially with a focus on systems used by our local branches and volunteers, but in the future other product areas may also be relevant. You combine product ownership, system management and project management – and are involved from need to solution. You will, among other things: Drive the development and management of our system support for association and volunteer activities Prioritize needs, plan development and keep the backlog and roadmap together Collaborate with suppliers and ensure delivery, quality and performance Be an active user of the systems – configure, test and follow up Lead the implementation of new solutions and further development of existing systems Capture needs from the organization and convert them into concrete solutions The work involves many contact points – from volunteers and operational representatives to developers and suppliers. You get a central role in creating solutions that work in everyday life. About youWe believe that you have a university or college degree in IT or systems science and several years of experience working close to the organization with digital development – for example as a product owner, system manager or IT project manager. You have The ability to convert needs into technical solutions Experience of collaborating with suppliers Knowledge of agile working methods and experience of the product owner role in an agile team Experience of configuration or work on low-code/standard platforms Merits: Experience from a membership organization or non-profit sector Experience of how AI and automation can create value in operations. Other informationThe role includes work in the evenings and the occasional weekend, as well as travel within Sweden to visit local branches, as the tools the role is responsible for primarily have volunteers around the country as main users. The position is a permanent full-time employment with intended placement at our office on Lindhagensgatan 126 in Stockholm. (We also have offices in Gothenburg, Malmö and Umeå which could be discussed as alternative placement locations.) We apply a 6-month probationary period. Start by agreement. At the Swedish Red Cross, we have reduced working hours and work an average of 36.25 hours per week over the year. We also have the opportunity to work from home up to two days a week and to perform one hour of fitness on paid work time. We offer fitness allowance and lunch benefits.
